Area and Population
The municipality of North Mitrovica is located in northern Kosovo. It covers an area of approximately 11 km² and includes North Mitrovica town and 3 villages.
According to the Kosovo Population and Housing Census 2020, the total population is 11.994.

The total number of voters in North Mitrovica municipality registered for the last municipal elections held in November 2021 was 17,721 including out of Kosovo voters.
