Viti

Area and Population

The municipality of Viti is located in southeastern Kosovo. It covers an area of approximately 276 km² and includes Viti town and 39 villages.

According to the Kosovo Population and Housing Census 2020, the total population is 47.896.

Governing Structures and Political Overview

The total number of voters in Viti municipality registered for the last municipal elections held in October 2021 was 48,084 including out-of-Kosovo voters.

The voter turnout was 42.5 percent/20,456 voters (source: Central Election Commission).

The current composition of the  Municipal Assembly is as follows:

LVV - Vetëvendosje (Self-Determination) (27.43%)
PDK - Democratic Party of Kosovo (27.03%)
