The Kosovo Local Government Institute (KLGI) organised its latest information/consultation meeting with local civil society organisations (CSOs), as part of the project “Civil Society as a Promoter of Public Contribution”, at the “Edu Courses” Centre in Podujeva.
The project aims to consolidate CSOs at local level so that they serve as intermediaries between the initiatives of local communities and municipalities, to increase professional contribution, to encourage regional initiatives and to promote European integration processes. The project also aims to improve cooperation between representative groups, municipalities and local communities.
The information/consultation meeting presented the process map, including: CSO training; involvement in the co-creation process; and direct contribution with under-represented groups in local policy.
This activity is implemented with the support of the regional project “SMART Balkans – Civil Society for Shared Values in the Western Balkans”, implemented by Centar za Promociju Civilnog Društva (CPCD) in partnership with the Institute for Democracy and Mediation (IDM) and the Center for Research and Policy Making (CRPM), and financially supported by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (NMFA).
