Within the project “Property Rights Initiative (PRI)” 🏡, the Kosovo Local Government Institute (KLGI) held a workshop 🗣️ with the participation of heads and representatives of the Local Councils of the Municipality of Lipjan 🏘️.
The aim of this meeting was to encourage open and inclusive dialogue 🤝, as well as to inform and actively engage Local Councils in addressing the challenges faced by women 👩, young people 👦 and minority communities 🧕 in exercising their property rights. It was stressed that improving access to property rights is not only a legal matter ⚖️, but a necessary step towards building a more equal society and the economic empowerment of all citizens.
The participants stressed that only through joint engagement 🤝 can existing challenges be addressed and a culture of equality, inclusion and respect for property rights for all citizens be promoted 🏠.
The project is implemented by ATRC and KLGI, and funded by the World Bank 🌍 and the State and Peacebuilding Fund 🕊️.
