The KLGI Institute, a space for and promoter of municipalities

Founded by a group of young experts with the mission of developing and advancing local development policies, KLGI has always tried to play the role of a catalyst for democratisation and good governance. Eight years on, the staff of the KLGI institute, colleagues who are now in other positions and all those who have contributed to the cause of the Institute’s sustainability can feel proud of the successes achieved both at national and at international level.

Now the KLGI institute has increased professional, technical and operational capacities, and as such it will be a space and an opportunity for professionals, experts, officials, students and, above all, for municipalities and the public.

Therefore, special thanks go to KLGI’s partners and friends, who were with us at every step. And above all, we sincerely thank our supporters who believed in our ideas and programmes.

Finally, with an expanded role, KLGI will continue to be an address for and at the service of reforms in our country, and in particular of municipalities.
