Visit to Albanian municipalities concludes

The visit to the municipalities of the Republic of Albania concluded with a meeting at the Municipality of Fier, where the delegation of the Municipality of Kamenica and the KLGI Institute were received by Mayor Armando Subashi and Deputy Mayor Enkelejda Peshkëpia.

The meeting discussed developments and the work under way in the Municipality of Fier, with particular emphasis on capacities for absorbing funds for capital investment, mainly in the agriculture sector. Mutual challenges in education and in the delivery of services to citizens were also discussed.

The meeting also served as an exchange of experience between the two towns, since their mayors face similar problems, and explored opportunities for cooperation in specific areas.

The meetings in the three (3) municipalities of the Republic of Albania were useful for the KLGI Institute in transferring practices in specific areas to other municipalities of the Republic of Kosovo, and also for the Municipality of Kamenica in advancing these areas.
