Representatives of KLGI Institute met with representatives of the Ministry of Regional Development (MRD) focusing on the discussion on harmonizing the agenda of cooperation and support to the socio-economic empowerment of municipalities.

Kosovo Local Government Institute is organizing a three-day workshop (May 30 - June 1) in the Republic of Albania with the Working Group on the preparation of the financing formula for the Special Grant for Social Services in the Republic of Kosovo.

KLGI Institute, in support of the Ministry of Finance, organized a two-day workshop on drafting the Draft Law on Local Government Finance (LFPL) on the dates (28-29 May) of the Working Group.

Participants in the meeting were members of the working group for the preparation of the financing formula and criteria for social services.

The Kosovo Local Government Institute (KLGI) organized a workshop on "The Role of Institutions in Increasing Inter-Community Co-operation at the Local Level". This workshop aimed to meet the challenges and efforts to promote and strengthen inter-community cooperation in the function of good governance and local economic development.

The Norwegian Ambassador, Per Strand Sjaastad, together with the KLGI Institute, hosted all Kosovo Mayors, representatives of line ministries as well as local and international partners to conduct an informal discussion on the achievements, challenges and perspectives in the field of Local Governance in Kosovo.
