The implementation of the legal framework ⚖ for property rights was the topic of discussion with officials of the Municipality of Shtime. The discussion took place at a workshop organised by the Kosovo Local Government Institute (KLGI) 🏛 within the “Property Rights Initiative” (PRI) project.
The aim of the meeting was to address the challenges and opportunities for improving the property registration process and to raise awareness of the importance of protecting property rights at the local level. The discussion focused on identifying challenges and raising awareness among women, young people and minorities. 💡
The participants discussed the legal and administrative barriers that hinder citizens’ access to registration processes and the securing of ownership, as well as the specific problems faced by the Municipality of Shtime, proposing concrete steps to address these challenges. 🔍
The project is implemented by ATRC and KLGI and funded by the World Bank and the State and Peacebuilding Fund. 🌐
