In an open discussion with officials of the Municipality of Kamenica 👨💼👩💼, important issues relating to the implementation of the legal framework for property rights were addressed. The discussion took place at a workshop organised by the Kosovo Local Government Institute (KLGI) 🏛️ within the “Property Rights Initiative” (PRI) project.
During the meeting, the participants discussed 💬 the challenges citizens face in registering and protecting property, as well as opportunities for improving existing processes. Particular focus was placed on education and awareness-raising at community level, to encourage citizens to engage in property registration and protection processes. 💼
The importance of strengthening the legal and administrative infrastructure was also stressed, in order to ensure a more reliable and secure environment for property ownership ⚖️.
The project is implemented by ATRC and KLGI, and funded by the World Bank and the State and Peacebuilding Fund. 🌐
