Discussion on inter-municipal cooperation in the Gjilan region

The Kosovo Local Government Institute (KLGI) and the OSCE, in support of the Ministry of Local Government Administration (MLGA), continued with the next training in the Gjilan region on the topic “Initiatives for Inter-Municipal Cooperation”.

The training aims to help municipalities implement initiatives and procedures for inter-municipal cooperation. Participants also had the opportunity to simulate an inter-municipal cooperation process in working groups.

Inter-municipal cooperation paves the way for municipalities to achieve common goals and interests in support of economic development and the delivery of the highest-quality services to citizens.

The activity was carried out within the framework of the programme ‘Dialogue for European Municipalities’ (DEM), supported by the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Kosovo.
