Discussion on sustainable and functional governance

As part of joint engagement within the project “An effort towards sustainable and functional governance”, a discussion meeting was held between KLGI Institute staff and DEMOS staff at the KLGI Institute’s offices.

Among other things, the meeting was a special opportunity for consultation and cooperation with the DEMOS programme, one of the most important projects for the local level. Both teams discussed their engagements and upcoming plans.

The focus was on activities that are interlinked and share common aims in addressing challenges and supporting municipalities. Among other things, the meeting was also an opportunity to exchange experience from working with municipalities.

It was stressed that the implementation of the KLGI Institute’s activities should be consistent with DEMOS’s plans, as part of a broader intervention aimed at achieving the objectives of efficient and functional local governance.
