Jordanian Minister Hammad met his counterpart Hyseni

In a meeting facilitated by Mr Besnik Tahiri, Executive Director of the KLGI Institute, the Minister of Interior of Jordan, Mr Salameh Hammad, met his counterpart, Mr Skënder Hyseni.

At the start of the meeting gifts were exchanged, while the discussion focused on strengthening cooperation between the ministries and friendship between Kosovo and Jordan.

The focus was on the delivery of services by the agencies of this ministry in municipalities, the digitalisation process and high standards of operation.

General security issues and global challenges in this field were also on the agenda.

This was the Jordanian delegation’s first meeting with a sectoral ministry. At the end of the meeting, the need for cooperation on capacity building and the transfer of good experiences from Kosovo to Jordan was discussed.

The delegation also includes representatives of the international organisations USAID and NDI in Jordan, which are engaged in supporting the Jordanian government in reforms.
