In an open discussion with the officials of the Municipality of Vitia 🏡, key issues related to the implementation of the legal framework for property rights were addressed—an area with a direct impact on the economic and social development of the community 💼. This discussion took place during a workshop organized by the Kosovo Local Government Institute (KLGI) as part of the project “Public Information and Awareness Services for Vulnerable Communities in Kosovo (PIAKOS)” 🔑.
The meeting aimed to raise awareness and improve the implementation of laws that protect property rights, particularly for women 👩🦱, youth 👦👧, and minorities 👥. Participants emphasized that only by strengthening legal and administrative mechanisms can stronger protection of property rights be achieved ⚖. Additionally, various challenges were identified, and opportunities were provided for finding concrete solutions to address property issues at the local level 💡.
The project is implemented by ATRC and KLGI and is funded by the World Bank and the Peace and State-Building Fund🏛.
