Within the project “Property Rights Initiative (PRI)” 🏠, the Kosovo Local Government Institute (KLGI) organised a workshop with heads and representatives of the Local Councils 🧑🤝🧑 of the Municipality of Kamenica.
The meeting 🤝 served as an opportunity to inform the Local Councils 📜 about the right to property 🏡 and the legal arrangements ⚖️ in this field. The challenges 🚧 faced by citizens were also discussed, with particular emphasis on women, young people and minority communities in the municipalities.
Local Councils 🧭 are important mechanisms through which problems affecting citizens can be addressed and resolved 🗣️.
👉 The participants expressed their commitment to contributing to improving conditions 🌱 for these groups and stressed the importance of cooperation 🤝 between local institutions 🏛️ and the community 👥 in resolving these challenges.
📌 The project is implemented by ATRC and KLGI, and funded by the World Bank 💼 and the State and Peacebuilding Fund 🌐.
