Progress and challenges in implementing the Montenegro – Kosovo cross-border cooperation programme, IPA II 2014 – 2020

The Kosovo Local Government Institute (KLGI), in support of the Ministry of Local Government Administration (MLGA), organised a workshop on the topic “Progress and challenges in implementing the Montenegro – Kosovo cross-border cooperation programme, IPA II 2014 – 2020”.

The workshop aimed to analyse/address the progress and challenges that municipalities and the MLGA are facing in implementing the IPA II programme, as well as the strategic orientations and future planning/programming of IPA III 2021-2027.

The overall objective of the programme is to improve standards and quality of life for people in the programme area through sustainable and inclusive economic, social and environmental development.

The activity is part of the KLGI Institute’s support to the Ministry of Local Government Administration under the component for advancing legislation and policies.

The activity was carried out within the framework of the programme ‘Dialogue for European Municipalities’ (DEM), supported by the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Kosovo.
