The Kosovo Local Government Institute (KLGI) 🏠held the second joint meeting with the coordinators of thematic groups within the project “Civil Society as a Promoter of Public Contribution”, part of the national grants of the SMART Balkans programme. 🗣 The meeting focused on informing and reporting on the progress achieved by municipality and thematic group, as well as on planning and implementing the next steps.
👥The discussions centred on ways of raising issues with local authorities during budget discussions in municipalities. 🖥In this context, examples were mentioned of engagement and dedication to representing and serving groups in need, making sure their voice is heard in policy-making and funding allocation processes📈.
This meeting was held with the support of the regional project “SMART Balkans – Civil Society for Shared Values in the Western Balkans”, implemented by Centar za Promociju Civilnog Društva (CPCD) in partnership with the Institute for Democracy and Mediation (IDM) and the Center for Research and Policy Making (CRPM), and financially supported by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (NMFA).
