Second meeting to analyse and discuss the contracts in Skenderaj

The group of social auditors in the Municipality of Skenderaj, in coordination with its local partner, the non-governmental organisation Skenderajlive – SKL, organised its second meeting to analyse and discuss the contracts, drawings and documents of the two projects included in the Social Audit in this municipality: 🏫 Reconstruction of the roofs of the Qirez, Llaushë and Anton Qeta schools in Skenderaj; 🏟 The sports ground at the “Ahmet Delia” School in Skenderaj.

At the meeting, representatives of the two schools shared their views on the progress of the roof reconstruction works, assessing the work done so far. The social auditors stressed the importance of ongoing communication between the school administrations and the construction team to ensure that every concern is addressed in a timely manner. 📞

The Social Audit group also welcomed the construction of the sports ground at the “Ahmet Delia” school, but stressed the importance of using appropriate materials. Conversely, they underlined that the use of inappropriate materials could cause damage and pose a risk to the safety of children and young people during sports activities. ⚠ They stressed that investing in quality is essential to ensure a safe and suitable environment for physical activities, thereby guaranteeing the well-being of pupils. 🌟

The group will continue with the next phase, a field visit to both projects. 🛠 This phase will include assessing the progress of the works and monitoring the quality of the materials used, as well as safety and compliance with the required standards. This will ensure that these projects are completed in line with the community’s expectations and needs. 🤝
