The KLGI Institute successfully concludes the visit of the Jordanian delegation

At the close of the visit, the Jordanian delegation, international partners and KLGI Institute representatives held a meeting to reflect on the visit. The delegation, led by the Minister of Interior, H.E. Salameh Hammad, stayed in the Republic of Kosovo from 6 to 9 December 2016.

Minister Hammad and the delegation had the opportunity to hold separate meetings with central institutions, sectoral ministries, municipalities and the functional committees of the Assembly of Kosovo. The visit is in line with the Government of Jordan’s efforts to strengthen political and institutional reforms, decentralisation and the delivery of better services at local and regional level.

The purpose of this study visit was to learn about and become familiar with good practices in institutional reform; institutional engagement and efforts in delivering quality services; and the process of decentralisation and the functioning of local government in Kosovo.
