The KLGI Institute and the MLGA intensify their strategic partnership in support of municipalities

The Kosovo Local Government Institute (KLGI) has deepened its cooperation with the Ministry of Local Government Administration (MLGA) by signing a cooperation agreement aimed at strengthening and further developing the local level.

At the signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement, the agreement, signed by the minister on behalf of the Ministry of Local Government Administration, was presented by the Secretary General, Ms Rozafa Ukimeraj, and was signed by the Executive Director of the KLGI Institute, Mr Besnik Muçaj.

The purpose of the agreement relates to strengthening and intensifying strategic cooperation between the MLGA and the KLGI Institute and consists of further strengthening local democracy, promoting the principles of good governance and improving performance. This is intended to be achieved through continuous communication, joint activities focused on local governance, the exchange of ideas and professional expertise, and the strengthening of inter-institutional communication.

The KLGI Institute and the MLGA have consistently promoted and undertaken joint initiatives in the interest of municipalities, and the agreement opens a new chapter in setting strategic goals for developing programmes and projects in the interest of municipalities and citizens.
