There is new momentum in advancing social services; greater joint efforts are needed in this field

Representatives of the KLGI Institute hosted a meeting with representatives of the Coalition of NGOs for Child Protection – KOMF. The meeting discussed joint commitments in the field of advancing social services at the local level.

The discussions focused on advancing policies/legislation and sustainable funding in this field and on strengthening cooperation in support of institutions in the process of advancing legislation.

On this occasion, the intervention programmes and commitments of both organisations in this field were also presented, and it was agreed that the processes of advancing legislation are heading in the right direction and that, alongside this, capacities, coordination and policies at the local level need to be improved.

The organisations committed to structured communication so that support for these processes is as great as possible.
